The CaT Secretariat was created to serve as a convener, advocate, and resource-builder to achieve the aim of the CaT. Although the Secretariat supports CaT members in all work plan-related policy, program, research and advocacy activities, the Secretariat was specifically tasked by CaT members to:

• Engage the donor community to mobilize financial & other resources for CaT activities
• Strengthen advocacy, communication, and information dissemination on the prevention of enteric fever and the use of typhoid vaccines; and
• Coordinate and manage the development, implementation and updating of the CaT Work Plan
